THE ORGANISATION / CONTEXT & SCALE

About Praava Health.

Praava Health is an integrated outpatient healthcare business in Bangladesh, founded by Sylvana Q. Sinha. Its first family health centre opened in Banani, Dhaka, in 2017, bringing consultations, diagnostics and technology-enabled patient services together.

Praava reported more than 390,000 patients at its fifth anniversary in August 2022. Its ninth-anniversary announcement reported reaching its one-millionth patient in July 2026. That later milestone shows how the business developed after my executive role ended in January 2022.

01 / THE CONTEXT

What needed to change.

Praava already had funding, an operating outpatient hub in Banani and approximately 100,000–150,000 customers. The challenge was to expand the technology capability behind a much larger care platform.

Built out the health information system and diagnostics systems, including machine hardware integration.

Built technology capability supporting Praava’s expansion from its original outpatient operation towards a larger care platform.
Built capability across health information, consumer applications, diagnostics and infrastructure.
Continued to support Praava in a technology advisory capacity.

A note on these outcomes

My executive tenure ran from October 2019 to January 2022. Praava subsequently reported reaching one million patients in July 2026. That later milestone is company context, not an end-of-tenure result. The starting customer range and my advisory involvement reflect my engagement account.
